That s what I don t get. Why is it necessary for those two particular rabbis to say something happened or not? Why do they have to be in Israel for it to be official? What does a dust storm have to do with the delay or start of any kind of prophetic timeline? Doesn t the new moon happen even if no one in particular notices it?
you say the feast of trumpets goes until sunset on Monday, but i thought the feast of trumpets last 2 days so, wouldn’t it be Sunday Sunset – Monday sunset = 1st day and Monday sunset – Tuesday sunset = 2nd day?

Hello Joe! If the new moon is sighted, then it is only kept 1 day. If it is not sighted, or no reports are given then you would keep it two days to be safe. It says in Leviticus 23:24,25 You shall keep a Sabbath on the first day of the seventh month with a memorial of blowing Trumpets.
ok so 1 day if it’s sighted and 2 days if it isn’t?
This is actually the eighth month, Cheshvan. Feast of Trumpets was the first part of Sept. Just finished up Feast of Tabernacles two weeks ago. How do you figure this is the seventh month?

Hi CJB! Please watch my Video about why I believe this is the Seventh Month. http://whenisthenewmoon.com/the-creators-calendar-hebrew-calendar/ This is how I believe the Calendar to Be Determined Biblically. Let me know if you have any questions. Blessings!
