Hey Y’all

The New moon was sighted today in Israel!

Since it has not yet reached Spring (Spring Equinox), but we have seen another New Moon, we now have to add a thirteenth month.

New Moon was sighted upon the mountains in Israel on Thursday, March 10th 2016 by: Keith Johnson, Nehemia Gordon, Yoel Halevi, Devorah Gordon, David Cachicas, Daniela Cachicas, Willie Ondricek, Judith Rood, Ava Williams, Gil Ashendorf and Mike Clayton… This begins the first day of the Thirteenth month also known as Adar2.

The First Hebrew Month, Chodesh Ha-Aviv, is expected to begin (depending on sighting) on April 8th, 2016.

The festival of Passover (Chag HaMatzot) will then begin April 21 at sunset and Shavuot will fall out on Sunday June 12, 2016.

Wherever you are at, remember to look toward the western Sky this evening, try to spot the moon, blow the trumpet and remember The Almighty’s goodness! 🙂

May you all have a blessed month as we prepare for ha Moedim – The Spring Holy days!

Rosh Chodesh Sameach!

Shalom,
Bro, Mark Harris

I think that the day of sighting was typed by mistake the 12th?
