I left this message on a previous post but I really need to understand the 7th Day Sabbath. Is it once a month on the 7th day or is it every 7 days in each month? Currently, I keep the 7th Day Sabbath according to the calendar everyone uses but I am searching to find out all I need to do according to YAHUAH’S Way. Please help me. Thanking you in advance.

The Seventh day Sabbath is from Sunset on Friday ( the sixth day of the week) to sunset on Saturday ( the Seventh Day of the week)!
Gen 1:5 And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Lev 23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
This is how we know that the evening starts the day.
In Creation and In the Ten Commandments it says that we should rest every seventh day. Through time, no one has lost the Seventh day…Even the Jews! Therefore Saturday is known and kept as the Seventh day weekly Sabbath in Unity across the world.
I hope this helps! Shalom and Blessings!
I appreciate your reply and I understand what you stated above. I already kept the weekly Sabbath as you stated above but what I am trying to understand is:
If the 1st day of the 10th Month is Jan 2 (Day 1 of the 10th month) then shouldn’t we kept the weekly Sabbath on the 7th day after the new moon and every 7 days thereafter?
Or is it that the start of the month according to the new moon has no effect on the keeping of the weekly Sabbath?
I hope you can understand what I’m saying because if everything else is not correct in the regular calendar which most of the world follows, I would think that the same would also apply to the weekly Sabbath. Please further clarify.
THANK YOU again for the information that you provide on this site. For people like me who are searching for YAHUAH’S Truth, to understand that Truth and follow HIS way – you have truly blessed me.

I do understand your concern, as many have thought this way. But, I have not found anywhere in Scripture that The New moon has anything to do with the Weekly Sabbath. The New Moon is only to tell the months. WE tell the days by the sun, the months by the moon and the years by the sun and the moon. The seven day cycle keeps on going. It does not reset when there is a new moon. I hope this clarifies. Blessings!
Ahhh…I understand now. Again, Thank you very much 🙂
Shalom, may YAHUAH bless and keep you and your family always.
