The New Moon was sighted from Israel today, March 21st, 2015!
The First day of the first month begins at sunset, Saturday, March 21st and goes through Sunday, March 22nd, 2015!

        1. actually it begins on April 3rd at sunset. April 4th is the 14th day of the first month…
          the moon was sighted on the 21st, which made that evening start the new moon day carrying it through till sunset on the 22nd.
