Please email expected feast days 2021. Thank you.
Do you anticipate a 13th month on March 14th?
I love this site and I rely on it for information about the moons and the feast days but it doesn’t seem to be kept up to date and I can’t find where all those videos he talks about are at. Am I looking in the wrong places?
The full moon this month will be in the constellation virgo. Look for spica, the brightest star in virgo, which represent the green ears in the woman’s hands.
Please add me to your email list.
Hi Mark,
I’m sure you meant 2019, not 2018 as shown above … “Wednesday, February 6th, 2018 – Eleventh Month – Shavat”
Also, when will you be updating the Expected Feast Dates and The Next Year at a Glance pages?
Please add me to your mailing list!
Thanks,
Deb
Hi brother-
Someone was asking me where in scripture does it say to add an extra month, Adar II, when the New Moon for the first month (Aviv, or Nisan), is sighted just before the Vernal Equinox, thereby the need to add on an extra month.
Where can you find the verse(s) because this person accused me of following the Noahic calendar which she says is Babylonian and of the Sages, but not scriptural.
Thank you!! ?

Hello Laura, thank you for your question!
I am working on a video that I hope will shed light on these things, and clarify this subject from a scriptural perspective!
Blessings as you study and seek the Truth! 🙂
When and at what time and time zone was the straight line with no arc sighted during 2018 (Gregorian calendar) that was written about on this internet site? From the gist of this reporting, this was in Jerusalem? Also, couldn’t spring/spring season actually start on the next day of this actual sighting and the line serve as a boundary or between marking between winter and spring? Are the dates often listed on the internet for Jerusalem and Israel for the vernal equinox be from the assumptions of mathematical and computer calculations without or largely excluding if not totally excluding eye (s) witnesses in Jerusalem/Israel?

Shalom, I have added the leap year when we have a leap year. Since we have one this year most likely, I have added it. It’s been in the list of dates all year. I am glad to know this site is a blessing to you!

Shalom Mark, Thanks very much for the initiative!
I would like to know what method you use to estimate the future New Moon sightings.
Do you keep track whether the anticipated sightings match the reality ? It would be nice to share it with us!
Is the scope limited to a few months or can you estimate it to let say 2037 (possible next Yovel year).
If you can, it would be a wonderful idea to share with us a monthly forecast until then.
By doing so for at least a year, you would also help us in anticipating the holidays to negociate with our bosses to be able to honor our lovely Creator every Rosh cHodesh in obedience with His command!
May Adonay bless you, Marcel

I usually state the next year in advance estimated sighting times, although it is possible to know further. I have not gotten around to updating the page I have for this yet, but you can find the estimated sighting times here. http://whenisthenewmoon.com/the-next-year-at-a-glance/
I also always share the Next Estimated sighting time, although it cannot always be accurate depending on if it is sighted or not. You can find the estimated time for the next month here…http://whenisthenewmoon.com/expected-sighting-times/
I use calculation of counting 28 days from the first day to look for the first possible sighting. This would create a 29 day month. If it is not sighted then, we wait till the next day (sighting on the 29th day) creating a 30 day month. Even if it is not sighted because of bad weather, the new moon is then still (by default) declared the first day of the month!
I hope I have made it simple to understand. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
Shalom!
YAHVAH be with you, is this bible year have two adar
Author
Most likely not as the expected New Moon after the 12th month this year will be after it is spring!
Shabbat Shalom Mark! Am I mistaken or are the months above off by a month? Also, can you tell me what day Pentecost will fall on in 2014? And thanks ever so much for this report. I look for it every month! Blessings to you and your family!!
Author
Hi Kathy! You count 50 days from the time that the wave sheaf offering was offered which was the Morrow after the Sabbath during the days of unleavened Bread. So Starting with The first day of the week, (Sunday) you would count 50 days. Therefore, Pentecost will land on June 8th 2014.

The months were off by a month. Sorry about that. We fixed Them to be correct. 🙂
Shalom Mark, Can you tell me how many months are there in a biblical year, and kind you send me a copy of a Hebrew calendar for the year 2014.
Author
There are 12 or 13 months in a biblical year. Most years there are 12 months. Only after there have been 12 months and an other new moon comes before the Spring has hit, then you count an extra month.
I hope this helps.
Shalom and Blessings!
